Hey guys!

I'm going on a camping trip with my family in August. We're driving the almost 400 miles that separates us and will be camping in tents. We can't bring an RV because of a pesky wet bridge in the middle of the way. :(

This will be a 10 day trip, with me driving alone with my kids the first 200 miles, camping one night, then driving the last 200 miles. I'll meet my husband and his family, and we'll drive back the same way on day 6.

The problem, of course, is food. I'm absolutely not planning on living on junk food and restaurant meals, but I've never been camping and I don't know how to meal prep when camping.

Do I need to buy a camping stove? I know I'll need at least a small fridge to keep my groceries from going bad. I'm hoping I could bring the groceries for the first 4 days, so we can buy more on day 5, but if that's not possible, I'll deal. I can't carry 10 days of groceries with 2 kids in our smaller car.

How do you meal prep when camping? Help!
