Never give men your number

I never give my number to men I don’t know. They can talk to me on messager or this website but I leave that up to them. Occasionally one will be like “can I get your number” and I give them a fake one. Today though, I got a text from a guy I matched with on Tinder saying “hey, just wanted to let you know you gave me a fake number” and then he gives me his number. This guy had matched with me months ago and I assumed he had completely forgotten about me. I’m fuckin shook. watched too many true crime stories, I know what can happen when you give men your number
