Why did the admin lock the telegram link thread?

I posted it because i simply don't like their timing at all. I've been pretty vocal about the ongoing chinese-european discord, and the way that everything in this sub kicks up right when china does the slightest thing that would seem controversial. If not for the past months of politically charged posts, i wouldn't have been so skeptical, but now i am.

I feel that what i posted doesn't even count as "doxxing", since it just a link to a group where the "doxxed" person themself posted and you don't even need to follow the person to join it. Literally what's the harm in that? And how is it bullying? I just posted a link and said to check it out, i didn't tell people to call the bluff. I feel like the admin should've let that one slide since it's so relevant.

To me, it's like they're hiding how the chinese poster is related to china, or something. But i don't have any concrete evidence on that, and it feels like they're just protecting their chinese friend from scrutiny. On the other hand, i think i know why this sub's so interested in china, chinese and everything related to china...
