CMV: The rich live in a time bubble where they completely ignore everything that happened in the 20th century, which they know will happen again when they try to push capitalism to the limits they're trying to push it to.

The super rich in capitalism will not stop to get richer. Right now they're busy crashing the economy so they can buy everything with their stockpiles of cash they got from government bailouts. <br><br>But there's a weird trend I saw for years now. The rich live in a time bubble. "It can't happen again" is their motto for anything catastrophic that happened in the past that might happen again when they have sucked all wealth dry and the middle classes have nothing left to give.<br><br>And they are completely wrong. They have no idea about history. For them it is always "that was then", "the world is completely different now" or "the system is working fine now, we learned from our mistakes" and "we're trying to make society better". They are not. They all lie. Everything that happened in the past will happen again. <br><br>The French Revolution, Great Depression, Russian Revolution; they all happen because the powers that be just didn't fuck off. They will not fuck off now.<br><br>The rich live in a time bubble. They don't live in reality.
