I see a lot of posts about people leading lonely lives in the US, not having real friends, etc. After reading through this sub for a while, I was wondering if this is as big of a problem in Europe as it is in the US (I'm in Germany, if this helps).

I have pretty different experiences in terms of friendships, but I'd like to know if this is just an exception or the rule.

If you could include your country in your answer, I'd really appreciate it!
