Hey everyone! I’m starting to get into meal prep and had a few questions.

1. How long do people typically meal prep? I imagine you can freeze rice/fish (or chicken)/and steamed vegetables for a really long time. However, can you prep salads? I’m planning to put chicken, lettuce, rice, and (sunflower seeds or some other nut seeds) in a plastic container.

2. What’s the best way to store meal preps? I imagine Tupperware. However, what are some alternatives? Is plastic better than glass? Vice versa?

3. What are some proven meal prep methods? By proven I mean people has done it and it works. I’m pretty much doing the same thing as above. I’m hoping I don’t have to do meal prep all the time.

4. What are some quick meal prep methods? I know you can just boil rice and fish. However, there’s got to be quicker (and healthier) ways of it.

I’ve tried meal prep before but unfortunately had to throw it out. I used to meal prep and leave it in the fridge for a week or so. (Not a good idea) I’m hoping I can do meal prep and freeze it.

I’m looking for a way to do meal prep and only have to do it once every 1 month or so. Any tips and advice (or a meal prep guide) would be much appreciated.

Edit: I don’t have time to meal prep everyday. My work hours are from 5am to 8pm most of the time.
