My daughter is mad at me for not getting pregnant and giving birth to another child.

I have a 10 year old daughter and I had her when I was 19. We’ve always been really close. She for some reason has started begging me to have a baby. I’ve tried explaining to her that I don’t want another child. I’m happy with the way things are. I will be turning 30 soon and I’m just now starting to feel comfortable in my career and financially stable. I don’t want to have to start over. I’ve also been experiencing health issues recently with my back, because of a car accident I was in. All of these were valid reasons I used to explain to her why I don’t want to have another kid. <br><br>I think all of this was brought on because one of her cousins (my sisters daughter) was telling her things like “you’re going to be an only child okay, it’s not okay to only have one kid, you’re supposed to have multiple!” <br><br>My daughter literally looks up to her cousin like an idol. For some reason yesterday she started to get upset because I told her no we aren’t going to have another baby. She started to cry and said “I want a brother or sister really really bad & you’re just being lazy and you don’t want to put in the work to have a baby, you’re so lazy you don’t want to do the work and I really want a baby brother and sister! And I’m not going to have any friends if I don’t have a brother or sister! Waaaahhhh” <br><br>I don’t know what to do. I feel like maybe I should just let her do her own thing for a while because she’s becoming really clingy to me lately.
