I know this is gonna sound crazy but I wanted to share it with some people who will understand what I mean.

I’m a dad of 2 girls (6 and 4) and they’re my universe. This happened about a week ago but I keep thinking about it. I was sitting on the couch watching tv with my wife when my youngest (Eva) came to sit next to me. I struck a conversation and asked her random questions like how was school, what did she do today, etc. She answered everything perfectly fine but then out of nowhere she started sobbing. She just started crying and said she missed me. I was oblivious as to what was happening and so was my wife. My wife has never seen Eva cry like this before. I tried comforting her, taking her in my arms and telling her that everything is okay, that I’m there etc. but nothing seemed to calm her down. We had to call her big sister and let her hug Eva to calm her down.

After Eva calmed down my wife asked her what happened, why did she suddenly start crying. Eva was still choked and she said she didn’t know, she just missed me for some reason. Was it a glitch? I mean I know it’s not crazy to think a child is upset over nothing but what was so weird was that she said she missed me even though I was sitting right next to her.
