Why do some people date their ex husbands wife?

I date a guy who is in his 40s and I'm in my early 20s. In the process of seeing him i looked him up on Facebook just to see if he's single or not. He's not single and had a post like " new chapter" and had a photo of him with another woman. She had a wedding band on and she was much older than me. She looked older than him and they look very hurry. So let's assume that she is his wife. <br><br>So now I'm seeing him and his wife posted that she is now single. When I found that post I was worried that he is married and i looked her up on Facebook again. She posted that she is single and ready to mingle. I told him that I saw her post " new chapter" and he said they are separated. <br><br>So he said they've been separated for over a year and they are preparing for a divorce. He said that he doesn't want to get a divorce and he has no intentions on getting a divorce. I was like " wow, you want to get back with your wife? I cannot be seeing you anymore."<br><br>He said that he was seeing only me and he didn't see anyone else. He said that he has been seeing me because of the flop of his marriage. He said that he found himself and he's able to communicate with his wife and he has no intentions on getting a divorce. <br><br>I asked if he is going to stop seeing me? He said that i am the love of his life and he cannot not see me. I asked if he doesn't love his wife? And he said that he cannot not date me because his wife is his love but i am his love too. <br><br>I asked " so does that mean that you are seeing multiple women, your wife and me?" He said that he is seeing me but date his wife as well. I asked " so you are seeing me but dating your wife?" He said that he is committed to his wife but i am the love of his life. <br><br>I didn't understand what was going on and I told him that I don't want to see him anymore. He said that i am the love of his life and he cannot not see me. I was like wtf and why he cannot see other women? He doesn't want to see other women because i am the love of his life. <br><br>I told him that I don't see him anymore and told him that I am seeing someone else already. He said that i am lying and begged me to come back to him. I told him " you want to get back with your wife then go back to her. Why would you see me?"<br><br>He has been texting me non stop and want to see me again. I told him that i am seeing someone else already and i don't want to see him anymore. <br><br>So I am seeing someone else now and I was looking up my current boyfriend on Facebook to see if he's single or not. I saw him in some woman's Facebook and they were in a photo together. So I looked her up and I found her. Then i saw a post " new chapter" and she posted a photo of her and my current boyfriend together. <br><br>I was like " wtf, this guy is also in a separated but not divorced marriage and also has posted " new chapter" just like my ex boyfriend?" And there is a photo of him and his wife. <br><br>I asked him " are you married? Your wife posted a photo of you two and you guys posted a post ' new chapter'." He said that he is separated but not divorced yet. I asked " so why are you seeing me? You want to get back with your wife?" He said that he doesn't want to get a divorce. <br><br>I said " you don't want to get a divorce? Why are you seeing me then?" <br><br>He said that he is seeing only me and he doesn't see anyone else. Then i asked why does his wife posted that she is single and ready to mingle? <br><br>He said that she doesn't love him anymore and she doesn't want to be with him anymore. He said that he has been seeing me for a while and he doesn't want to stop seeing me because he is in love with me. <br><br>So now I am seeing this guy and he is telling me that he is seeing only me and he doesn't see anyone else. He said that he is committed to his wife. He said that his wife is older than him and she is not attractive to him anymore. <br><br>He said that he is in love with me and he cannot not see me. He said that he is looking for a new woman to date and that woman is me. <br><br>So why do some people date their ex husband's wife? <br><br>Why do men date younger woman who is decades younger than their wives? <br><br>Why do men date their ex husband's wife when they are not divorced yet? <br><br>I cannot understand any of this. I am seeing a man in his 40s and he is telling me that he is seeing only me and he doesn't see anyone else. I am probably the only woman he is seeing right now. He said that i am his only love and he loves his wife at the same time. <br><br>He said that he cannot not see me and he said that I am the love of his life. He said that he is looking for a new woman to date and I am that woman but he has never broken up with his ex wife. <br><br>I don't understand why men date their ex husband's wife when they are seeing their husbands?
