why do people like that autistic meme

i dont remember the name of it, but it's the one that says something like <br>"people with autism don't like being referred to as 'autistic people'... they prefer being called 'idiots with brain damage'"<br><br>i see a lot of normies and even autists themselves posting it in the name of "ironic" humor, and i dont get why its funny? its really dehumanizing and it also pretends that the subject of the meme is a person who cant defend themselves. idk if it was made ironic enough to be self aware that its dehumanizing them but the fact that its also just obviously a meme explains the media culture we have today. <br><br>i dont remember what word i was looking for but its not the word meme. you know what i mean.
