My American friend got a 3 day quarantine for visiting China

I am Chinese and will be visiting my home country soon with my American friend. We booked flights together, but the Chinese government gave him a 3 day quarantine because he is American. <br><br>I am Chinese, but born and raised in the US. I've never lived in China. And I am still an American citizen. I won't have any proof that I am Chinese other than my Chinese name in my passport.<br><br>Do you think the Chinese government will still give me a 3 day quarantine?
