Why the f**k does my school still #BlameTheVictim?

So there was an incident of sexual harassment in school. I was talking to my teacher about it. She was like: 'Girls wear inappropriate clothing. They should be careful about that.' I asked 'So isn't it the guy's problem that he was looking at her? Are they not taught to be in control of their gaze?' She was like: 'No it's not like that.'<br><br>WTF?? Then I asked 'But isn't what you do wear only between you and God?' She was like 'Not when you live in a society.' Then I was like 'So why don't you teach guys not to get distracted and to lower their gaze?' She was like 'No. The onus is on girls to cover up and stay safe.' <br><br>Like wtf?? She's a smart woman and I really like her as a teacher but this pissed me off.
