I just found out that my cousins' 3-year-old is autistic and they're using that as an excuse to knock up again.

I know this sounds insensitive, but hear me out. My cousins had a 3-year-old son who is autistic. They recently found this out and are now having ANOTHER kid. Their excuse was that, "Having an autistic baby is difficult, and when he's around 6 years old, he will understand and feel bad that we spend our time and energy on his baby sibling. Therefore, we are going to have the second child before he is 6 years old." One of their (and my) uncles was horrified by the decision and asked them, "What if the second child is autistic too?" And they said that, "We may have a third child." This was such a horrible decision. Thinking that one of their children should be sacrificed so that another of their children will not feel bad is insane.
