The journey of a psychopath from an opposite perspective.

There is this whole “injustice” culture based on the idea of a psychopath, narcissist, or even sociopath opposite, the so-called “empath”. At the beginning, I was curious about the idea of an empath. On my journey, which lasted some years, I stumbled upon the works of CAM, who was an empath herself, and she did some interviews with psychopaths.

First conclusion, for someone who has high IQ and uses rationality in most of their reasoning, the idea of empaths is very disregarded. Certainly the works or any particular person shouldn’t be disliked. But the idea of an empath from my perspective, not only did I find it very childish, almost as childish as the idea of Santa from the perspective of most adults.

“Why did you steal my lunch money?”

“Santa did it.”

This makes more sense than the idea of an empath. If you were born with a specific behavior, you are either a psychopath, narcissist, or sociopath. There are no empaths, and the idea of an empath should be disregarded.

On my journey, I read about the idea of “innocent” people who simply are more emotionally sensitive, and that they can see it when people around them lie based on micro-expressions. As a psychopath who has read the works of Paul Ekman, who was the father of this idea, I should say that they are exaggerated. Certainly, humans can be lied to, but the idea that we all lie about everything is also an exaggeration.

Provided this, if you were born with a specific high sensitivity and emotional stability, then you are not an empath, but a narcissist. The idea of an innocent narcissist contradicts the definition of a narcissist.

So what is the difference between a psychopath, narcissist, and sociopath? Well, I found that the following traits are commonly found in psychopaths, and I also found similar traits in empaths, which appear to be sociopaths based on the following definition.

Psychopaths are highly intelligent, and they use their intelligence for their own benefit. A psychopath is someone who, for example, has a job as the CEO of a company, but he also has an affair with his employee.

They tend to be very goal-oriented, and they almost have a narcissistic tendency, as they are very proud of themselves, but most of the time they are not conscious of their flaws.

They also have very low empathy, to the point of being completely apathetic. But they are also very charming and charismatic, which is why they are usually successful.

They also tend to make rational decisions, to the point of being overthinkers. They are self-centered, and they tend to be perfectionists.

Sociopaths, on the other hand, tend to be worse than psychopaths. They are often impulsive, and they cannot think before acting. They are more prone to commit crimes, and they cannot control their behavior. They are also very short-sighted and they cannot see how their behavior is affecting others.

They are not irrational, but they tend to be overwhelmed by their emotions, and they cannot think before acting.

The biggest difference between a psychopath and a sociopath is that whereas a psychopath will plan beforehand and think twice before doing something, a sociopath will simply act based on their impulses.

Narcissists are a bit different, as they are the whole spectrum of people with high emotional stability and irrationality. They can be psychopaths, sociopaths, or sometimes they tend to be more impulsive and emotional, but they are almost never rational. They have a fixed perspective, and they cannot change their minds.

Based on the definition I provided, it seems that the so-called “empaths” are actually sociopaths.
