I don’t really have time to search for identical apps right now. If it is not a new idea, please comment below. <br><br>I’ve always liked the twitter feature where you can see who is on the same place as you are, but I don’t really like the idea of other people seeing my location in real time. <br><br>So lets imagine an app that takes that feature from google maps, where you have a big dot for your current location. Now you can see other people’s big dots around you, just like on twitter. But this is an app that only serves for that purpose. It is a purely social media app. <br><br>Now you can create your own place, where you can choose your location, and basically create and admin an account for that place. This can be the name of the place, description, comments section, list of “residents” and a list of “visitors”. Anyone who is inside the radius of that place (like 200m, 500m, or more, depending on the place) will show up on the visitor’s list. If you want to be a “resident”, you have to accept the invitation from the admin of that place. <br><br>People can choose to be invisible if they want to. <br><br>You can also see the history of where you’ve been, through a list of all the places you’ve been to. You can also see the history of each place, like how many times you’ve been to that place, how many residents that place has, or how many visitors each place has had in the last year etc. <br><br>Each place can also be made invisible to everyone else, so that the only people who can see this place are the residents. <br><br>You can also create your own places inside of other places. For example, lets say you are in a stadium, you can create your own places inside of the stadium, like the name of the section, or the name of the restaurant, or the gift shop, or the parking lot. <br><br>It’s also possible to create a list of these places in a pin map style. On this list you can sort them out by various things, like name, date created, number of residents, number of visitors, distance from you, etc. <br><br>I didn’t really think this through but hopefully you get the idea. <br><br>This kind of an app could be useful for many purposes, like a university campus, a stadium, a work place, a hospital, a big park, a festival, a convention, a hotel, a whole town, a whole country, etc. <br><br># Conclusion <br><br>So hopefully you got the idea based on my description.
