How do people afford kids?

Babies are super expensive and I know it’s hard on parents. But how do parents afford it? I’m currently in college and I’m living paycheck to paycheck with no savings. I have to live on financial aid and loans because I have no money<br><br>I’ve always wanted to be a mom but the thought of struggling to afford my children and myself is terrifying. I’ve had the thought of investing and saving money everyday but I don’t think that would be enough. I’m a worrier and I think about how bad it could go for my children and how it would affect me. <br><br>I can barely afford me and my cat right now. I feel like the world is a horrible place for kids, I can barely take care of myself let alone another human. It’s just too scary of a world for me to bring a kid into<br><br>I know I’m not ready to be a mom and I don’t want to be, I’m just wondering how people afford it when it’s so expensive.
