My Bestfriend Almost got Abducted By A Human Trafficker

My daughter will be 17 in July and my best friend will be 21 next week. They decided to have a sleepover, so I let my daughter stay over her house. The bestfriend will be referred to as T and my daughter as C. He parents weren’t home, and I knew about and it didn’t bother me because I knew T is an adult and I trusted her. <br><br>Last Friday they went to Wendy’s to pick up dinner for the night and on the way back home they stopped to get something at a corner store. T was in the store to get some liquor and C stayed in the car playing on her phone. I don’t know what happened before hand but C said a man approached her and was talking to her. T said the whole thing happened so fast because C didn’t say anything until they were already down the street. <br><br>C said the guy was talking about how pretty she looked, asked for her number, and about her name and age. C is a very shy introverted person and she said she was just agreeing and giving answers because she got scared when he approached her. T said as soon as they left the store she noticed her acting strange and that’s when C told her what happened. They drove away fast and came straight to my house. <br><br>C was acting so strangely and I thought she was just being weird until T told me what happened, I got upset. I told them to file a report and to get a description. C didn’t realize how bad it was until she told me. She began to panic. We found out that the guy was 24 years old and definitely not from around here. We could tell that much from his accent. She gave a description and it seemed so unreal until T backed up her story. <br><br>She was in such a daze, so I told her to go shower and get some food in her. She went to the bathroom to shower and just bawled while T and I talked. T cried because she felt bad her bestfriend got almost got kidnapped and she was just in the store for 5 mins. I was just mad and upset. <br><br>A police report was filed and they haven’t caught him yet, but we’re still on the lookout. The police took T’s car for forensic testing. So they can see if they left any fingerprints on the car or any other evidence. C is currently staying with her grandparents and they’re frightened. I just feel bad because they were just having a sleepover and hanging out and this happened. <br><br>I don’t know what to do. I’m just trying to stay strong for C and T, and the rest of my family. They just better hope they get caught before I do.
