Do you guys still think, or hope, that AGI will be a singularity?

I'm simply curious about your opinion on this.<br><br>Personally, I don't think it is that simple any longer. I think AGI will give humanity new capabilities, and some people will truly benefit from it, but it won't automatically make every other human life better in the same way.<br><br>It's possible it will only widen the "gap" between the "haves" and "have nots". I'm sure a lot of people will get left behind in the next waves of automation.<br><br>Just wondering what you guys think.
