How does the southern hemisphere get water if all the rivers flow into the ocean and the majority of them are in the northern hemisphere?

I saw some of the maps that showed all the rivers and they all lead into the ocean. If the ocean is where the rivers dump water, then the water should flow north, not south. Like all the rivers in Europe and Asia flow into the Indian Ocean and the rivers in North America flow either into the Atlantic or Pacific. If they all flow into the ocean, then the water should be flowing north into the Arctic and not into the southern hemisphere. If anything, the southern hemisphere should be a desert.

What makes the northern hemisphere lose water into the southern hemisphere?
