Best shotgun for new-b

I am a 17-year-old girl and I am looking to buy my first gun. I live in a pretty sketchy neighborhood, and I'm wanting to buy a shotgun that is reliable, durable, and easy to use. I am also relatively small for my age at 4'8". What are some things I should look for in a shotgun to make sure it will feel comfortable to me?
