If you were in the position to decide whether or not your anime got a season 2, what would you do?

This is also going off the assumption that you know if people would watch it or not, just for simplicity.<br><br>I'll start. I'm being completely selfish here. I would choose to have a season 2 of Made in Abyss, Overlord, Re:Zero and The Ancient Magus Bride, and then I would have them all end on a massive cliffhanger. I've done this because I want the story of these shows to go on forever, not necessarily the show itself. I'd be willing to bet money they'd still get a season 3 if they were popular enough, and if the end of season two was good enough to leave people wanting more. I'd say out of all of these shows, Made in Abyss and Ancient Magus Bride have the best chance of getting a season 2, but who knows. I just want to own season box sets for years to come. I want these stories to be remembered forever.
