I'd much rather let a 13 year old play Doom or Resident Evil then them to have social media apps.

I'm not saying either is perfect and it's up to the parents to decide but the aggressions and sometimes even violence depicted in video games are worlds apart from seeing other kids being bullied online, having the need to present themselves and comparing with others. All of these are much more detrimental to a teenager's mental health state.<br><br>Speaking of which, are we as a society okay with social media being used by minors? Just because it's here already and it's the norm, it doesn't make it right.
