How would you feel if a real life version of an anime were made real in a way that was unrecognizable to you?

The show in question is My Hero Academia. It is extremely popular, with over 90 million copies sold worldwide, and has several spin offs, so it is heavily implied that if it were to be made into a real life version, it would be extremely popular.

Now imagine how people who love My Hero Academia would feel if a real life version was made, but it was made with elements that they have no idea how they work. A real life version of My Hero Academia came out that had My Hero Academia's plot, characters, setting, music, and powers(super strength, invisibility, telekinesis, etc), but each of the powers were fueled by elements that no one who has read My Hero Academia is familiar with.

So Midoriya's One For All would come from an element like calcium, not the traits of previous users of One For All. So basically, the characters have all the same powers, but their origins would be completely different from how they work in the My Hero Academia universe. How would you feel if an anime you loved was made into a real life version but had elements that are unfamiliar to you?
