300 members strong! Time to get the community growing

This community has been growing slowly but surely, but at 300 members I think it's time we try to kick it up a notch and gain some momentum. We've got a solid foundation with 300 members, but time to get to 1000, 5000, 10,000 members. We're going to need your help to get there. Here are some ideas as to how we can get there. If you have an idea, leave a comment on this thread and I'll add it to the list.<br><br>**1.** **Invite your friends.** There are 300 of us here, if each person invited 2-3 friends then that's 600-900 people right there.<br><br>**2.** **Share the sub on social media.** Got a Twitter? Facebook? Instagram? Tumbler? Wherever you go, share the sub, spread the word.<br><br>**3.** **Post on other subs.** If you have a piece of writing and need feedback, you can post it here and get feedback from this community AND go to other subs and get even more feedback.<br><br>**4.** **Provide feedback.** The difference between a small sub and a large sub isn't the number of people in the sub, it's the number of people that participate. A large sub with no participation is just a bunch of people taking up space, and a small sub with lots of participation is a tight knit community that's a joy to be a part of. Read people's work, give feedback, engage with the community.<br><br>**5.** **Join our discord** to give your opinion of what you want to see and give ideas of what we can do with the chamber to get it growing.<br><br>**6.** **Tell people in the comments below what YOU want to see.** Do you want contests? Quizzes? More resources? More than a weekly writing prompt? Tell me in the comments.<br><br>Remember, this is your community as much as it is mine. Tell me what you want to see and I'll listen.
