How come nobody uses canned salted clams?

I was fishing near the ocean and there's a spot where you can collect salted canned clams. this bucket of clams is around 10in tall and about 6in wide. there's a lot of clams inside and I have no idea what to do with it. I've had it for longer than I wanna admit. I've been using it to make clam chowder but I've been wondering what else I can use it for. After doing some research it seems like I can use it as a topping for pasta but what else can I use it for? any help would be greatly appreciated
