I'm going to have to cook from scratch for the next three months, how do I afford it?

I'm going to have to cook from scratch for the next three months, and I'm worried about the cost. I live in a small town in the Midwest with no car, so I have to walk to the store, so I will be buying in bulk. I'm also single, and I have a small fridge and no freezer. I currently live off of instant noodles and frozen pizza, so I will need to completely change my kitchen as well.

My income is $200 a month, and I will have an initial $100 to spend on the kitchen, but then I will only have $200. My average grocery bill is $30/week.

I've seen a few recipes online, but most of them require specialty ingredients that I wouldn't regularly keep in the house, or call for a large serving sizes. I'd rather not change my diet drastically as well, as I'm already picky enough.

What are some good cheap recipes that serve one, and can be made in bulk? Is $5.71 a day realistic?
