we go to school for 12 years, go to college for 4 years, get 3 internships, and then they ask us if we am good enough for a $60k/yr job

i am literally going to lose my mind if i have to do anything like this again between now and when i’m 60. this shouldn’t be so complicated. i don’t want to be a billionaire. i just wanna live in a house with a yard and have a dog. why do i need to prove that i’m extra worthy to have a basic life?
