I’m convinced that it’s nothing but a honeypot trap.

-It distracts victims from reality and keeps them occupied in a fantasy world
-It lowers their sense of self
-It gets them to spend exorbitant amounts of money on useless trinkets, so they waste their monetary resources
-Most importantly, it breaks down their minds and replaces their sense of self with a false ego called a “fursona”

I’ve noticed every major tech corporation has dabbled with the furry community. They know it’s a honeypot trap, which allows them to hone in on the most vulnerable people with low self esteem. They know that if you can get somebody to break down and accept a completely made up identity, they can make them do anything.

-Google made an advertisement featuring furries and this was a prime example of a psyop
-Instagram created a filter allowing you to create your own fursona
-Disney’s Raya features furries (because Disney knows a thing or two about honeypot traps)
-Discord was practically built around furries

Major celebrities have been openly embracing the furry culture, which only serves to normalize and gaslight people into joining. I’m willing to bet that furries are at least 10x more prominent on your average social media feed than they actually are in real life. The media has been artificially boosting them up and painting them in a positive light so more people join, which is why we’ve been seeing so many furry influencers pop up left and right.

There’s a reason why the government really only cracked down on this subculture for brief periods in the early 2010’s, but then completely stopped giving a fuck about it. It’s because they realized that they could use the internet to create a highly effective honeypot trap. Look how many people have fallen for it. It’s staggering, and they don’t even realize how deeply they’ve been conned.
