AITA for canceling my birthday party after no one gave me any gift so that I could use it to pay my friend's sister debt?

I recently turned 20 years old so I am now officially an adult. My parents arranged a birthday party for me and they invited my friends from college and high school and all of my neighbors. Some of them were not able to come so they gave me some money and told me to use it to buy anything I like. Some of them came and didn't give me anything.

I was expecting them to at least give me 100$ so that I could use it to pay for my friend's sisters debt. She went back to her home state to take care of her sick mother and she owed my friend some money. My friend used that money to pay for her tuition and now she is almost homeless because she had to borrow money from someone and was unable to pay them back. I wanted to help her by taking a loan but she said no one will give me any loan because I am a university student and I don't have any income source. I said that we could use my birthday as an excuse to get money but she told me not all of my friends will give me money.

So, I decided to give them a lesson and teach them the true meaning of friendship. When the party started, I gave a speech telling them that I was expecting them to give me money so that I can pay my friend's debt. But almost everyone gave me a blank stare after hearing my speech. I was expecting them to start giving me money but everyone was silent. Some people went to their cars and left while others went to their homes.

me: What? I thought we were friends? I thought you cared for her. Do you know that she doesn't even have a place to live? She will be homeless if she doesn't pay her debt soon.

friend 1: What the hell are you saying? She is not even your friend. Why would we help her?

me: What do you mean she is not my friend? She is the sister of our friend!

friend 2: Stop being a Jordan Peterson loser. I have no idea what kind of mind rot you're falling into lately, but your friends don't owe you anything. This isn't the fucking jungle.
