Why do people think Jesus Christ was white?

I know modern Christianity is run by white people but I feel like it's just weird how we have white people worshiping a Middle Eastern man. It doesn't make sense. Also, what if the Muslims were right? The Prophet (ﷺ) again filled his eyes with tears and asked, O Bilal! Would you say, if I tell you all this? I said, Yes, O Allah’s Apostle! The Prophet (ﷺ) said, I then saw ‘Isa bin Maryam. His face is reddish for he has red hair and lean body and high nose as if he has come out after a long hot bath." (Ibn Majah)<br><br>> "I saw Jesus in a dream. He was shorter than medium height, of moderate complexion and lean to boot, with a long neck, a broad chest, straight hair and big eyes". (Ibn Katheer)
