I'm so tired of hearing "Women can be sexist too!"

We don't think we're superior to you. We just want equal treatment. Women aren't overcompensating men cause we feel threatened by them; we're trying to protect ourselves from the people that have been socially conditioned to view us as inferior. We're not the problem! <br><br>I just want to scream when I bring up my issues with sexist double standards and am met with "Yeah, but women are sexist too!" <br><br>Like, yes we fucking know women can be sexist. We are the ones who have been damm sexist to! So yes, women can be sexist, but that still doesn't change the fact that there is a long history of systemic sexism that has been passed down through generations that has resulted in men always have more power and privilege than women, and THAT is what we are trying to fight against.<br><br>So I'm getting real fucking sick of hearing that phrase. So many men just use it as an excuse to remain apathetic and avoid the real issue. So many men use it as an excuse to basically say "Yeah, you're right, women are the real oppressors. You do you, I'm gonna go play video games." If you think that, then you are a fucking idiot. <br><br>I swear to god, these "reverse sexism" people piss me off so much. Cant wait to see the usual suspects downvoting this post.
