Why does the chambers app stop auto playing videos when I click on a post from the list of posts?

This is very annoying and makes me not want to look at any of the videos on Reddit. They should make it so clicking on the post does not interrupt the video. That means you have to go back in the browser and click on the post again to watch it uninterrupted.
