Is it possible for bug to get out of that corner effectively doing nothing to pass a day?

There was a bug that was stuck in that corner in my kitchen. It was almost completely immobile it seems. I saw it was moving its claw like arms. I was thinking maybe it was not able to get out. I checked next morning and it was on the other side of the kitchen.
