Is there anything you can realistically do in your life that would give you an accomplishment like going to the gym for the first time in a year?

I’ve been feeling really “meh” about life lately and I’ve been feeling like I’ve been lacking a sense of accomplishment. I think people who are already in the habit of working out can easily talk themselves into going to the gym, getting a good work out in, and then feeling satisfied about it.urum insun

My guess is that if I were to go to the gym after a busy day, I would just do something extremely light and easy. I would probably just get on a bike for 10 minutes and then quit.

I can’t think of anything else that I can realistically do in my life where I can do something like **not go to the gym for a year** and then go to the gym, and then feel like I’ve accomplished something. This feeling is what I’m missing.

I’ve never really been in the habit of going to the gym but I have a gym membership. I think this is what makes it so hard for me to get into the habit. I just don’t see myself ever going to the gym. I guess even going once a month would be better than nothing. It’s just that if I were to give myself a goal to go to the gym, I would probably do something extremely light and easy my first time so it just doesn’t feel like I’ve accomplished anything.

Thanks for reading. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please let me know.
