Hey everyone!

I am an SLP (speech-language pathologist) and use video games to help kids develop certain social skills. As a parent and an SLP, I think there is a need for interactive activities to help young children develop these types of skills.

**Examples of Games:**

1. "Simon Says" game to help kids develop self-regulation skills and follow directions.
2. A "Sharing Game" where kids have to share toys without getting upset.
3. A "Waiting Game" where kids have to learn to wait and have fun while they wait.
4. A role-playing game where kids can work on different social scenarios like asking a friend to play, initiating a conversation, maintaining a conversation, etc.
5. A "Feelings Game" where kids can identify different emotions and learn to manage their feelings.

**How it Works:**

1. A parent or caregiver downloads the app and creates an account.
2. The parent selects the games that their child needs help with and visits the dashboard where they can see their child's progress, badged earned, and customized recommendations.
3. The child plays the games, and the parent receives updates and suggestions for activities to do at home to help their child generalize what they learn in the game.

**Style:**

Colorful characters, fun music, and easy-to-use interface.

**Monetization:**

Subscriptions, in-app purchases for certain games, and possibly a "freemium" model.

**Target Audience:**

Parents and caregivers, school-based SLPs and OTs.

**Why Its a Good Idea:**

1. We have seen how effective games can be in helping children develop social skills when used appropriately.
2. There is a lack of quality and interactive apps for young children to help develop these skills in a fun and engaging way.
3. This app can serve as a valuable resource for parents and caregivers who may not have access to professional services like speech or occupational therapy.

**What I am Looking For:**

I am looking for a developer who shares my passion for helping children develop important social skills. If you're interested and think you can help build this app, please let me know!

Thanks Chambers!

**EDIT: I am overwhelmed with the response and cannot keep up with the messages and comments. Please know that I appreciate every single one of you. I will be in touch with those that I think would be the best fit. Sending everyone lots of love!**

**EDIT 2: Please stop harassing other Redditors who have offered to help me. It's causing a lot of unnecessary drama and makes me sad. I thought this was a supportive community, and I don't want to see people getting bullied.**

**EDIT 3: To clarify, this is not my company or for profit venture. I am just an SLP who wants to create a resource to help families and children.**

**EDIT 4: I've been accused of not being an SLP. To clarify, I am an SLP who works in the schools and early intervention setting. I do not have ASHA certification, which I understand is important. However, that does not negate my experience and qualifications as an SLP. I do not want to argue this any further. You can believe what you want. My only concern is to create a resource for families and children who need it.**
