I just found out that the anime I was watching was actually made for little girls

When I was a kid, my dad left me at a friends house for the weekend because he had to go out of town for work. My friend had a younger sister, she was about 10 or 11 at the time and I was 13. I was sitting on the couch with the sister and she was watching this anime with an all girl cast and I really liked it. <br><br>I have been trying to figure out what it was ever since, but I never really had any details to go on. Over the years, I literally only remembered three things really about the show.<br><br>- it was an anime with an all girl cast<br>- they were all at a school<br>- they all wore the same uniforms<br><br>I never forgot about it, but I never had enough details to figure out what show it was. It also didn't help that I stopped watching anime after the 90s ended, and never really kept up with it until about 8 years ago or so. But I always kind of remembered this one show and how much I liked it. <br><br>Fast forward to last night, I was just kind of randomly browsing and I came across this show called "Magic Knight Rayearth" and I saw the picture of the characters they looked vaguely familiar. I read the description, and it didn't really match what I thought I remembered. But I figured I would give it a shot because it was on HBO Max and figured, "why not". <br><br>Well, it was the show. I know the main characters are girls, but for the most part it's an action/adventure anime. I honestly kind of forgot how much I really did like it, until I started watching it again. I know it's a magical girl anime, but if you like that sort of thing you should check it out. <br><br>It's definitely older and you can tell it was from the 90s, but it didn't really matter to me. I honestly would have kept watching it if it was ever on when I was over my friends house. I just liked it that much.<br><br>It also made me remember why I loved anime so much when I was a kid.
