All of you, Jewish or not, Israeli or not, can do something about what's happening in Israel or Ukraine or anywhere else in the world that is suffering from war in general. I feel like nobody's talking about this angle on social media at all.

If you're not armed and on the battle lines, then you're influencing the war by your economic choices and your social media behaviors. <br><br>You are responsible for looking at the sources you trust and choosing the ones that give you accurate information. You are responsible for choosing the media you get your information from.<br><br>Of course you can't control what happens with Russia's military or Hamas' military. But you are fully responsible for who you support in this war by the media you consume and the influencers you follow. If you have no sources you trust, you have yourself to blame. Do your own research. <br><br>You have full control over why you choose to support one side over the other. If you say it's because your father influenced your opinion, then you have yourself to blame. Do your own research.<br><br>You have full control over the way you are influencing your friends and family about this situation.<br><br>You have full control over the way you express yourself on social media. This is how you are influencing the war. We don't have to be in the military to "help". It's not just one man or one "side" that caused a war. This is how the conversation always seems to go when people discuss the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in Facebook comments. It's not that simple. <br><br>So, your arguments are invalid.<br><br>You are responsible for what you buy. You are responsible for reading the labels on the consumer goods you use. You have a responsibility to make sure that what you buy, doesn't give money to people who are trying to kill other people. <br><br>You have a responsibility to be mindful of what you share on social media since that is a way to influence others and to shape public opinion. <br><br>You have a responsibility to not re-share what you know to be misinformation from sources you don't trust.
