Is this sub just becoming a normal consumerist sub?

Been lurking on this sub for a couple of years, and i see more and more posts asking what hair dryer/ coffee machine/ vacuum cleaner, etc to buy. Or what $300 purse to get.<br><br>I thought minimalism was about using what you have, buying second hand, exchanging or borrowing stuff from friends and family. <br><br>No?
