I just found out one of the most toxic people I know is tying to cure herself. She will almost certainly die.

A few years ago I made the mistake of being a good friend to her, thinking that she would be a good friend back. I got rejected, dumped, humiliated, assaulted, and betrayed for my troubles. And she was the only person who saw herself as the victim.<br><br>I've since moved on from her. But I got some news recently. She was diagnosed with cancer. And she decided to abandon treatment and do her own thing. She's convinced that she can cure herself without consulting any medical professionals, and that chemotherapy was a government conspiracy.<br><br>I'm not sure how to feel about this. On one hand it's a good thing that she's out of my life. On the other hand, she's dying from cancer that could be stopped with chemo, or if that doesn't work, she will die tying cure herself. And her family is completely behind her.<br><br>Idk.
