Pretty annoying how he doesn't sometimes even show a hint of how he's feeling

Many times I will send something to him on the topic of emotional support, and he won't even give a single glimpse into how he's feeling. It's often extremely frustrating and a bit confusing, as I'm trying to help or at least figure him out.
