Christmas is only for the 1% and homeless people.

I've always wondered why the wealthy have such a strong defense for Christmas. It's become a holiday centered around consumerism, greed and 1% flaunting their wealth. It's an excuse for them to keep their wallet closed and then brag about how much they bought out of the price gouged market. <br><br>While they claim to give to the poor and needy, the truth is that Christmas is extremely expensive for the working class and middle class. Once you throw in light and heat bills, rent, and then the pressure of gift giving, the working class and middle class are in the hole. <br><br>You'd rather be homeless for Christmas then be guilted into ignoring your bills and rent and buying trashy gifts for people you don't care about. <br><br>This holiday is a scam.
