Per my information Switzerland has the 10th largest economy in the world, with a gdp of about 800 billion dollars. But at the same time it has a gdp per capita of about 90,000 per year, or about 7,500 dollars a month.

In contrast the United States is the largest economy in the world with a gdp of 25 trillion dollars. Yet it has a gdp per capita of only about 60,000 dollars per year.

How does Switzerland manage to have such a high gdp per capita given that its economy is so much smaller than the US?
