Virginia Anti-Abortion Bill

So I’m assuming most of you have heard about this anti-abortion bill that passed in Virginia. It makes it illegal for a woman to get an abortion after the first trimester, and even after that point only if there is a threat to the woman’s health. The doctor performing the abortion is required to have a third party verify. Prior to an abortion the woman must get an ultrasound to determine the age of the fetus. The bill was proposed by Del. Dave LaRock (R-Loudoun). There are also bills in the state legislature that have been proposed to ban abortion completely inVirginia.
