What's your take on beloved socks?

There are these extremely comfortable socks that my husband loves. They're so comfortable he's even had coworkers comment on them. <br><br>He also wants to quit fast fashion. He and I both want to save money. <br><br>But our budget is $50 a month to spend on clothes after paying for all our needs. Harvard is expensive. Cheaper options will help us save for things like food, bills, or Harvard tuition. <br><br>The thing is, the cheaper options aren't as soft or comfy as the beloved socks. I suggested we try to make our own socks and he's adamant that he has no time or desire to learn knitting. <br><br>What's your take on beloved socks? Should you pay more for something soft or find the cheaper option that works?
