AITA for yelling "YOU'RE NOT MINE!" At the grocery store?

I was in a major rush to get out of the store. I grab the wrong kind of milk, and the wrong flavor of yogurt to get my kids through exam season (They were the cheap store brand), and that made my day a little worse.

Just as I was about to leave the store, some kid I've never seen before grabbed my coat. My coat was old, ugly, and stained with spilled coffee. It had a hole in the sleeve, and the zipper was broken, and it smelled like mildew. I only really wore it because it was inexpensive, and kept me warm over my other clothes.

I had a very bad cold at the time, and my allergies were pretty bad because of the pollen. So my sinuses were acting up.

The kid grabbed my coat, and started yelling, while I sneezed, "MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM!"

This scared the shit out of me, and I jumped back as I was trying to blow my nose.

And I yelled, "YOU'RE NOT MINE!"

Some people in the store stared at me, like I was some kind of asshole. The kid's mom came up to me, and she was actually very nice. Her son had just started having separation issues, and he would hug random people and call them Mom.

I felt like a total asshole, and bought him a cookie. AITA for yelling "YOU'RE NOT MINE" to a kid who wasn't mine?
