School shooters are still human beings.

I'm not trying to romanticize them or make them out to be good people or anything. School shooters are fuck people who have done inexcusable things that no one can condone. But that doesn't change the fact that they are human beings. I don't know if it's just my recent change in personality, or if it's society in general, but I find myself and people around me dehumanizing people who do wrong, to the point where we'll celebrate the death (or in this case, execution) of another human being. I don't think any human being should be celebrated for being killed.<br><br>I'll never defend these fuckers or use the "mental illness" excuse, but I also think that society needs to take a look at ourselves and see why this shit keeps happening so many times. It's not security, tightening the grip on guns, or whatever the fuck it is. Those shit solutions aren't going to solve the root cause of this shit.
