If you own guns and work in healthcare, take the next 5 minutes to delete any references to guns or shooting sports. This isn't hypothetical. I personally know of several nurses and doctors who have lost their jobs over social media references to owning guns. There is currently an effort from certain groups to comb through the social media of anyone in a patient facing roll and report us to our employers if we have any references to owning guns.<br><br>Please go comb through your old posts and delete anything that can be taken out of context.<br><br>Edit: I didn't expect this to blow up. I'm just trying to help people who might not otherwise know to take proactive steps to protect themselves. <br><br>I am not advocating that people hide who they are. What I am advocating is to think carefully about the information that you put on the internet. <br><br>I know it's currently trending to post pictures of your guns, your gear, and your family. Please consider the long-term implications of the content you put on the internet.
