Why do men hate the term "All men" if they think there is a "gifted" man out there?

I don't get it, why do they think they are excluded from the problem if they are not. If men genuinely want to help, why take offense to "All men" if they aren't in that list? Every time you men try to distance yourselves from predatory men, you prove that you are either part of the problem or clueless to just how bad things are. I cannot name a single man who has stood up against the patriarchy and stuck their neck out for women's rights. Your silence is deafening as a collective.
