I’m a 27 year old guy, and my job is considered an essential service so I’m still going to work. A lot of my co-workers have been talking about the panic shopping and how people are hoarding all the essentials. Over the past week I’ve noticed that a few of the girls who usually work down town have started coming to the suburb that I work in.<br><br>I got off work at 5, and there was a usual who was already working the corner. Honestly, she had a list of about 6 basic items that she couldn’t afford that were sold out everywhere. We had dinner, went to the store, and then I took her to the hotel. <br><br>When we got to the hotel she broke down crying. She told me that she hadn’t been able to buy anything but food for almost two months, and that she was starting to give up hope. I gave her £100, and told her not to tell anyone I paid her. She was so overwhelmed that someone was showing her that they cared. <br><br>I’ve been told by several people that I’m a sick bastard for paying for sex, but I feel like I did something amazing for this young lady tonight. I got to have a great time with her, I got to talk to her, and I got to show her that someone cares. <br><br>I know this is a strange thing to post, and I know that a lot of people won’t care, but I feel like I helped someone who really needed it.
