My husband is a goner

My husband went on a business trip, and he ended up having a whole different kind of trip. He’s been doing psilocybin mushrooms, and he’s completely gone. <br><br>He says he doesn’t need to come home; he says he needs to, *not come home*. The company he works for says they don’t know anything about him doing that, but the guy has been dropping mushrooms since the 80s, so I’m not sure if he was simply influenced to go on a new journey (like his three week trip to mexico in 2003) or if he was in a staged employee retention session, but either way, he says he “feels them working” and it’s all fuzzy now. He’s so at peace and he doesn’t know when he’ll be ready to be in one physical location again. <br><br>I’m supposed to break it to the kids that he’s gone, and that he’s no longer of this world, but he’s in the universe somewhere. He says that’s the path he must be on. <br><br>I’m trying to stay strong for my kids, but I’m heartbroken. I feel like I’m a widow now.
